There are quite a number of questions about wide-angle lens selection and about this lens in particular. The Tamron 17-35/2.8-4 is very strong competitor among other lenses in this category of wide angle zooms, like the Canon 17-40 f/4L and the Sigma 17-35/2.8-4 EX DG. this test is for the Tamron 17-35/2.8-4.0.
Do you really mean this lens or the Tamron 28-75/2.8?

the fact that its an f/2.8-4 makes me not interested
