I Need some Help with my A630.

I looked all over and couldnt find a good place to post about it, this was as close as I could get.




But my problem is, I cant upload pics to my computer. Everytime I try, it will try to download to drivers i guess for the cam to communicate with the computer, but then an error shows up "Cyclic Redundancy error".

So I tried to just get the drivers from the Canon website and install them that way, all goes fine until "WIA File for XP not Found"


I dont know what to do now....any help at all?

do you have a card reader? I have a Dynex single SD card reader, had it for over a year and no problems. I used the white wire previously before and i used it so much my cameras port for whatever reason stopped working.

If the computer begins to look for drivers then you'll need to install the CD that came with your camera before you plug the camera into the computer.

If you don't have the CD you can download the drivers from the Canon website.

A card reader is by far the best option, though.
