What another crappy drive! We where not meant to drive on ice... even with $380 freaking snow/ice tires :(
Good morning by the way.
Lol...probably true
Good morning folks. It was another rough night with sick little men but I'm still alive. I'm thinking that I am SO going to go to bed when they do tonight especially since Corey is out of town hunting all weekend.

Yes i could not count the cars this morning.. Little tired.
UP at 4am for a dip in the lake and then tried to get my gear off and packed up before it froze to my butt :D Then i was late getting to work and the highway was like a sheet of black ice.. at time we where doing 20km and still sliding cause the road goes on a bank in some of the turns.

Hello all..
What another crappy drive! We where not meant to drive on ice... even with $380 freaking snow/ice tires :(
Good morning by the way.Sorry about your crappy drive. They can be so frustrating. I know mine are yet to come. And ever since they outlawed the spiked tires here in Illinois, there is no tire that can deal with ice. Nasty stuff.

Aww but there is no better way to relax than to be completely weightless in water. And this time of year the water is nice and cold so the fish are very lethargic so much easier to approach.
But thus far the lake is not frozen over yet so its still easy to just jump in for a quick dip.. however give it a month and we will be pulling out the chainsaws to cut a hole and go.

Scuba diving never relaxed me...I had trouble sinking and then I'd have trouble coming up slwow enough even if I made sure all the air was out of the BCD.
Michael_Lambert
21st of November 2008 (Fri), 08:33
Yea, well when you get in to technical diving like i do weighting to go down is never an issue :D
When we carry upwards to 150 pounds of gear going down and staying down is never an issue :D Any dive i do regardless of depth or degree of dificulty i always dive my doubles with a stage so a total of 3 tanks and about 30 pounds of lead. And we don't dive with your classic style of BCD we dive Backplate and Wing systems with drysuits.

And, sorry to cut you off so suddenly last night. The tv static was pretty loud and I barely heard Ian crying so I wasn't sure how long he had been crying before I heard him. Turns out, I heard his first cries.

mine too!
That's true...we do talk about poo a lot.
You'll be able to join in the poopy talk soon enough.
ah yes once you become a parent poo is a normal subject.
And you think the convo has gone downhill so far today.... Wonder what it would be like if the title were that.
it could get really ****ty ;)
If he only knew. He'd run screaming the other direction.
very very true
Blowouts.
I've only had 2 blow outs with Kyler and both were when he was in sposies when he was 2 months old and in sposies for a trip to GA. It was ugly and 2 very ruined outfits.
Ah, but see, as a general rule, you don't have THOSE with cloth....there's elastic at the back and legs. So that's one thing that I'm grateful to say has been pretty well contained. (you have no idea HOW grateful- I just don't do poop.)
What she said. Never had a cloth blow out. Ever.
Ugh, Aidan skipped pooping for 4 days a couple of times when he was a baby (totally normal for a boobie baby). Let's just say that the clean-up when he did poop was extensive....there was no room left in the diaper at all....it almost reached his shoulder blades.
never had that. He was a regular 6 times a day kinda pooper
Yeah um, that doesn't sound like fun. Even in a sposie, a cloth cover will help that.
yes it will and you can get some super cute covers. I suggest a minkee.
Kyle says if we can't find the bag then he'll replace the diapers for me. WOOHOO. Which means that I can finagle my way into 3 diapers since I lost two inserts right? Di do you have any more of the pony minkee? That was one that I lost :(

ah see these seriously don't stink. I rinse mine off with a sprayer and never touch anything nasty. Throw in the pail. Throw in the washer and dry. I haven't bought diapers since May and I spent $180 then. That and when we're done I can sells these for at least half of what I paid for them. I'm getting a return.
So far we have been very very lucky, Large family and they bought tons for the baby shower, and i have a friend who works at a larger department store who always happens to find packages of diapers or cases of formula open on the store floor and we get it at a GREATLY discounted price.. lol I don't think i have yet to have paid more than $5 for case of Enfamil A+ ready liquid formula.

I have my bag back!! Apparently the local police picked it up right off the bridge over the train tracks yesterday. They looked to see if there was identification and then tried to drop it off. I wasn't home. We ran up there after retracing my steps once again. I walked in and it was sitting on a desk I could see from the door. The officer knew then that the bag was mine. He was getting ready to head out the door to bring it to the house again. I had to show him my ID just to make sure. He commented that he'd never seen a diaper like that and it was cool. Had it not been there we'd have been down in the rail road tracks. Although I think I want to go down there in the spring between trains and get some cool shots. It would be cooler if I could get shots while the train is going by. Hmmm maybe not in the valley but along the tracks anyways.....

My teams do the integration and testing of the new software. They all use to be here in Illinois and Texas but we have off shored so much that I no longer have anybody stateside. All are overseas. So, my office is a laptop and a high speed internet connecting and a phone. I still work for a old school kind of guy that likes to see the people who work for him so I drive in every day, pop in my laptop and start working.

Cool beans...
But, ugh, moving again.
<----hates moving with a passion
<--------does too! and I'm getting ready to do it again. BLAH.
BAWHGAHAHAHAH Goodnight.
Night Adam!
Boy, Michael, that makes me glad that I have a friend who dresses up as santa. Santa pics will be a breeze since I get to take them myself....provided Aidan doesn't get scared this year and cry like he did last year.
I wish we knew a Santa. We just cannot afford to have them done at the mall. However I wonder if I can take them myself....

Ha not me. I just about killed my phone before I replaced mine and the hubby made me do it. He was tired of seeing it all mangled and not working right. I couldn't be happier with the phone he got me though. I lurves it.

Yeaa haawww.. My kido actually behaved on santas lap.. or so my wife says..
$40 at the local mall for a picture with santa you get a print sheet of a couple of 4x7's and wallet size and the single image in high resolution on cd. Not too shabby.
and ours are crappy quality and they charge 2 arms and a leg.
