Probably be off for the rest of the day...not doing so well mentally today and even though I'm excited by tonight's shoot, its going to be a rough afternoon. Plus I need to clean up a little bit.

Tiff, Abbie and Leigh I'm not sure if I'll be on tonight or not. I may try to get a bit more of this dress done, too.

I did not buy the console online cause there are a few stores in my area that sell Modified game systems. So i would prefer to find a place where i could buy the Wii with the modchip already installed.

I am soo freaking rough on my games, it would be nice to be able to do what i do with my PS2 and copy the game and play the copied version putting my original away.

I'm actually having a decent day. However last night I had another anxiety attack brought on by something odd that sent my thoughts to death. I don't have a fear of dying it's the fear of leaving all my family behind. The fear the my children would have to go live with their sperm donor even with my will stating my husband would keep them. I had one similar to this a few months back that a juicer infomercial brought on. In retrospect it's rather humorous. Then it wasn't so.

No sh*t… I have the exact thing happen. It happens every year around thanksgiving. I remember the first time it happened I jumped out of bed convinced that my heart had stopped and I had but minutes to live. This was late at night and everyone was asleep. It happened several times within a few weeks and had me panicked enough to go talk to the doc. They found nothing wrong and I even had a complete stress test.

By December they had stopped but the next year the same thing happened. I went to the doc right away and he did all kind of tests. I was poking myself checking some blood levels every hour and again he found nothing.

By the third year when the same thing happened he concluded that I was suffering from SAD. He recommended that starting early in November I get out a lot and get lots of sun. Since then I still get the attacks but they are much less severe. I can laugh about them during the day but at 3:00 in the morning when I’m frantically looking for a pulse convinced my heart has stopped it’s not so funny.

My kids are out to make me CRAZY today. That and I need to research some stupid new flammability regulation that frankly may put me out of the diaper business. Honestly at this point, wouldn't miss it. We'll see.

Ok, that should be easy as well.

I'm bipolar, very mildly compared to many, but the winter kicks my butt. This is the first year in 4 years that I've had to take antidepressants and anti anxieties. It sucks. Generally I can control it with exercise, diet, sun, and vitamins.
Umm fish oils and extra vit. d via vitamins helps a lot too. I take them both and they help out a lot. I actually need more I'm just about out of the Vit. D and out of the fish oils.

Morning my loverlies.

see my perk is that my husband is one of the firefighters and none of them have a decent camera and that I can come and go as I please as long as I don't get in the way :D

Well, it helps to know people and it helps even more to be married to one ;) Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my out of state conections ;) (uncle in Connecticut is a Hazmat Instructor and paid FF).

Well, I got my 12 guage shells so I'm ready for shooting tomorrow and my gloves got here a while ago (as everybody knows) so I'm going to be low and dry :)

And, I've got no idea what to get my brother for christmas. We already did shopping for mom (got her some clothes and books [pretty much the two kinds off things on her wishlist]) and I've got stuff like a 580ex II, Domke F-2, battery grip, 1.4x II TC, Adesso 12x7.5in computer tablet, etc. I also don't know what to get for Dad because #1 he's not going to be here anyways and #2 he said he didn't want anything and couldn't really think of anything he needs. So, I guess I could get him a book or two and some jazz cd's but still don't know what to get the bro ???

Hey guys--was just scanning through and trying to catch up. I hope everyone is feeling better mentally this evening!

So, I've got no equipment, no accessories. I've only the Canon Rebel XSi and kit lens. I think, though, that I might be in the market for lighting to use in a home studio type thing. No idea at all what to look for! I need cheap, but not crap. I want my husband to shoot budoir pics of me to hold me over until Diane shoots me. And I want studio pics of the kiddos. So...after I get the little ones in bed, I'll be popping something to dull the pain while I shop around!

Who's going to be around to keep me company in a bit?

Ick. I don't think I've figured out what you do yet....so, what do you do?:p I work for a major telephone equipment manufacturing company. I work in R/D creating the new equipment that makes all the cool cell phone features possible. We sell our goods to all the majors, Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, and others. My specific job is managing all the groups that test all the features, debug the system, and put out sellable product. As most of these guys have moved off shore, I do everything remotly. I have a team in Japan, India, Korea, China, Indonesia, and Malasia. It's a diverse group but it keeps me up and online 18 hours a day.

Bummer It ain't so bad, why do you think I hang here so much. Work and hour, play an hour and so forth, sleep, and start it all over again. It pays the bills.

Abbie I sent you an IM with a link for you.
I went from having a decent mental day to having a really bad one in a matter of minutes earlier. My daughters teacher(and husband's former teacher twice over, 2nd and 5th) son had cancer and was in remission and was in treatment for some of the meds that he had to take during Chemo which brought on another illness passed away yesterday. He was only a sophomore in high school. I just can't imagine. It threw me into a super funk.
However the husband is officially a tow truck driver/fleet mechanic as of tomorrow at 8am. Winter/snow+moron drivers+tow trucking commission=nice money

Plum wine is very nice especially over ice.

Pomegrante martini. :D Don't ask how I know tho, k?

Thanks everyone, I even found a cool quote for the inside, I think this is the card I am going to use this year.

Its very, very pretty!

I've been very bad this evening and mixed wine with my pain meds. Oopsy.

However, we decided to experiment with lighting/boudoir a bit ago. Between the Christmas tree lights, the raging fire and a couple of desk lamps.....we failed horribly! It did give me some ideas for next time. And made me realize I really need a backdrop. lol

YOU didn't fail horribly silly....remember who your photog was and what you said. ;) He's an artist, webdesigner, great Dad. NOT photog. ;)

Abbie, get some king size sheets from wally world...lots of colors and cheap.

Goodnight folks! My brownie ration is done for the evening so it's time to crawl n bed with my boys.

Ditto on the wally world sheets. Remember that's what I started with too.

YUM to the brownie, and yum to the sheets as well. Not sure I'll hit them right away this evening again. Got to spend the evening shooting and visiting with our friends with the newborn.....that was so fun.

Still in a little bit of a bad mood, but at least I've figured out pretty much what is causing it. Three letters, the ladies had me pegged a while back. lol.

Looking at other houses since it looks like the realtor on the house we put an offer on is a complete flake. I've got better words for her but they're in no way family friendly. also if you buy a house before June 1, 2009 you get a $7500 tax credit. I believe that the house has to be bought after June 1, 2008. You also can't have held a mortgage in the last 4 years.
My credit is like 40 points too low for a mortgage. I'm talking with a lender now to get my credit bumped up high enough for May. I have a forclosure on my record. My sweet ex husband came up to me after I won the house in court during our divorce and said Congrats. The house is 8 months behind. There was no saving it. Sweet huh?
Also I don't want a 30 year. The houses here are so cheap that a 15 year would only be about 100 less than a 30 year.
Holy! Taco bell opened up in dubai!
Enjoy that
Hello everybody... I'm-a-gonna-have-a mighty busy Friday, at least for a few hours. :( But I guess that why they pay me. Stay away from Taco Hell. The devil lives there. He will possess you and try to escape from you at the most embarrassing times. You will know when this happes as you will clearly smell the fire and brimstone. I know this for fact, I speak from experience.
You are totally cracking me up this early morning. Oh and believe me the devil likes to take over the husbands body and try to kill me at the worst times like when I'm trying to sleep ;)

Morning folks. I'm going to try and be good today and not be on so much so I can get some papers caught up. Ugh. I don't want to.
