Anyone have experience shooting at Ford Field? What's the lighting like, lens recommendations, helpful hints?
I may have an opportunity to shoot the MHSAA Finals and want to be prepared.
Thanks!

i work there, and personally i think the lighting is terriable. in that sense, the lighting is (cant remember the term) but is yellowish. you will really have to work out the white balence to get some good shots.
your going to need 2.8 and unless you have a media pass probably a long lens- which they dont allow in the building (ford field is a stickler for this sort of thing).
media guys on the field normally have a body with a 70-200 2.8 on them for like the close up endzone catches and other lense ranging from a 300 2.8- 500f4
just my opinion. I work there as a beer vendor- never brought my camera with me
