Not a complaint, just a FYI.
Around 10:45 - 11:15 zulu there seems to be substantial latency. Funny thing about it, tho, it's not on all operations. General browsing, reading, etc. is zippy. The latency occurs when doing things like logging in, quoting another's post, pressing the save button after an edit, etc. Almost as tho the database is on another server?

I am having the same issue but it is at all times. All the same issues. I have done the normal fixes, cleared cache, restart browser and computer, ran adware, ran reg cleaner. Still having the same problem.

I click "quote". The edit page opens in less than a second.
I click "submit reply": the page is saved and new loaded in about 1 second.
Do you run some internet accelerator?

You can check load times with these tools:
Texas - Dallas (theplanet.com)

Massachusetts - Cambridge

California - Los Angeles

This shows how clogged main networks may be at the time:

No accelerator, just a standard cable connection via Road Runner.
Did you check at the time when you made the post? As I mentioned in the OP, this happens to me periodically about 11:00 gmt, + / - a few minutes. At other times the board is fine, even peak (U.S. and European) evening usage times.

Yes, there is some brief system maintenance stuff going on when it's early morning in US.
