Pocket Wizard question.

I am trying to remote fire a flash wirelessly using a pair of Pocket Wizard Plus II Transceivers. What flash do I need that will work with the transceiver. I have a 430 EX, but there is no where to plug in the cord supplied with the PW. Does a 550 or 580 have the connection? Or am I looking at this all wrong?

What I am trying to do is take a silhouette shot of my car, with the flashes lighting up the backdrop, shooting the dark side of the car. Usually I mount the 430 on the hot shoe, and I have 2 Sigma 500 Supers optically slaved. I can't really take a silhouette with a flash on the camera.

Any help appreciated.

The 580EX II has the sync port, for all others (i.e. your 430EX), you'll need to get something like this (http://www.flashzebra.com/hotshoes-shoes/0064.shtml)

For Silhouette, just light up your background, and expose for it.

Put the flash on the hot shoe, connect the PW with the PW supplied PC to PW cord.

It's the same thing, except I recommend my or Titus's link. The one on B&H doesn't have that little lock-wheel. You will need to lock it tight or risk dropping your flash.

And for what it's worth, I did the Flashzebra modification to my 580EX to add the sync port, and it works like a champ with my pocket wizards.
