BG-E1 Battery Life Question

I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have a grip for my Digital Rebel. Can someone tell me if it's wise to put a fully charged battery in the grip with a partially charged one? Does the partially charged battery "suck the life" from the fully charged battery, so to speak?

i think they're in parallel, so the charge is drawn from both batteries at the same time. But I might be wrong...

Impossible to answer without a sample of the grip in hands. Entirely depends on the presence (or absence) of diodes between the 2 battery packs or of some "intelligent" electronic circuitry to manage them.
