I took my wife for a surprise getaway weekend for our 12th anniversary. I took these shots in in our suite at the bed and breakfast where we stayed. She made a great muse, and while she slept in took the time to take some shots.

The whole set is here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/bkburns/sets/72157609225646200/) if anyone is interested.

4 & 6 are really nice (composition and exposure). I would like #7 a lot more if it weren't tilted. The foreground and background colors in #7 really blend nicely.

Nice series. I personally like #6 the most due to the DOF and the soft look.

Sorry for the delay folks, but thanks for the comments!

1shot4u - thanks!

xMrLpz - I appreciate it. I tried it without the purple as I normally don't like desaturated shots, but I thought it turned out well here.

Cobaltforge - thanks!

jsvphoto - I tried #7 with and without the tilt, and was torn as to which to keep. I even did 8x12 prints of both, but this one ended up being the keeper. It was about 50/50 in the 'taste tests' with no apparent winner, so i went with my preference. I think I drove my coworkers crazy asking them about it :-) ... thanks for the feedback!

dadecountyanthony - thanks! If you look at the piano in #5, the jazz musician is the 1 foot statue on the piano.
