Hi again Guys,
Here is a selection of real planes, the best of both sides of the Atlantic. Dreary weather over here most of this summer. Cant wait to get a trip to Nellis someday, would love to see that big yellow thing in the sky, i think they call it.....the sun?

Just for fun, just for your infomation, this is the most original Mk1 Spitfire to date. Managed to get a picture on its first trip outa the paint shop.

sorry, but I had to convert the 2nd post to links. The Image Posting Rules (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718)allow for only 8 images to be posted by the OP.

whats with the smoke coming from the props on the last one of the first post? is that just the motion or is that smoke?

Canonnoob: The effect on the prop is actually vortices being created by the tips of the props, in combination with the damp air.

An excellent set of shots, my fav is #1 with the Spitfire & the P51 Mustang "Ferocious Frankee". I can empathise with the weather, it was very poor when I went to the Duxford 90th display.

Really enjoyed looking at these.
