I am working as a cook for a fraternity house (in order to pay the bills while I am growing my photography business) and they have approached me with the suggestion to do their composite portraits. I have checked with 2 different printers I am using and one said they did not have templates but would design one for me (at a pretty penny I am sure) and the other said design it my self in photoshop and submit as desired print sizes. I still need to have the wall portrait (30x40) framed as neither of them offer framing.

I was wondering if there were templates you might know of or printers that would offer what I need that you stand behind their services?

Thanks!

Fraternity composites are very simple. I would start with lab and find out the typical sizes available. Get their 'crest' or coat of arms whatever they call it and just evenly space the number of members around the print and add whatever text they are looking for. If you stuck for the overall look just shoot a picture of their last year's one and go home and basically copy it.
