93' TT Supra

Yes this is placed in a non-related forum area, but people requested them...
These are two shots of my Twin Turbo Supra...currently in the shop for paint. I went to look at the car on Monday the 28th and it's in primer ready to be sprayed. ACS in Reisterstown Maryland did a beautiful job so far, it is being sprayed Anthracite this weekend, and i'll get pictures posted ASAP. But here are pictures of it as of 3 weeks ago. They make me CRY :o :o :o :o . The has all new panels on it except for the passenger door and the left rear quarter panel and the targa top... EVERYTHING else was replaced, because the previous owner had alot of putty in the car and it was a shame. So i couldn't bare to have that much putty in it therefore my hookups at Toyota were on call :D but as soon as i get the painted pictures i'll post them up also. Oh yea if you want to critique these shots...please critique the car, not the photo-taking ability of myself(even tho it sucks anyway)

It's stock twins...BUT i have a T04R single turbo lined up (can put it on anytime), a cast iron manifold (dont have the $$$ for a tubular mani), I Have in stock a HKS Super Drager exhaust, and I actually have the turbo just am gonna wait till stock twins blow :-D, im gonna do a bleeder T mod which basically raises the boost pressure to 19PSI, i have HKS Intake on the car, and i would LOVE to put a methanol kit on the car (great deal for the price $400.00/around that price) but im waiting for the single to go on for that (kinda pointless running methanol on stock twins at 19pnds), and when the money comes my way...a BoostLogic Built Auto tranny, visit their site www.boostlogic.com...a buddy of mine took off 1.5 seconds off his time just with this tranny.

Thanks everybody for the interest. It's been a looonggg project but i'm glad it's getting painted...I'm going to try to go up this monday and take pictures if it's painted...The trim and clips are gonna take a little bit of time to get together and put back on. It should be done and put back together in about another 2 months at the latest.

it looks like a Targa Supra is it? So did you buy it as a project or was it a result of an accident?

Result of an accident... Supras arent good at corning...eeekkk :-\ not much damage at all actually, we just decided to rip it all apart n have a little project car

And yes it is a Targa...It was orginally a 93' Baltic Blue w/ Tan Interior, Twin Turbo, Automatic :-) I like built auto's...

Will the transmission be a Toyota Auto? I ask because I know some guys put GM's TH400 in their Supras which is actually what I have in my El Camino. :lol: Seems to be a good transmission so far.

so i take it you will 1/4 mile it?

there is a supra around here that drags it. he is fast but not as fast as he wants. best last year was 9.5 at about 145. aiming for sub 9 this season. he did the tranny swap from the 6spd this past year and it got him a half second. less rotating mass and weight. forget if he went glide or th400 though.
him and a hyabusa have a friendly competition going. this is year3 for that. the busa was a best of 9.1 this past year.

Yes it will be the Toyota Auto, but built by Boost Logic www.boostlogic.com. I will drag it but not too much just because i want it to be a weekend car, and drag, it will definately be fast but full weight.

HAHA!!! it's funny i just got back to reading this post...man alot has changed :-D ill post new pics of the car up soon...its going drag now :-)
