Took this photo in my car at night in the middle of a storm. I thought it gave a certain feeling of mystery and loneliness, and I liked the underexposure of the interior. What do you think?

I like it, the rear view mirror make it immediately recognizable sense of where this shot is and really feels somber, almost has a serial killer quality (I watch way too many horror movies).

I don't wish to be rude here, but quite honestly this shot really just does not do anything for me. Looks like an iced over car window...so? The mirror does make the scene recognizable for what it is, but I think this would have worked better in color and without the mirror maybe during the daytime...might have given the shot a very Monet-like impressionistic quality to it, but "as is" it just seems flat and lifeless to me.
Just my $.02 worth,
Jim

marjnap: thanks, that's what i was going for.
walczak: ok fair enough. To be honest, I had a look at it on my work monitor and it looked quite crappy as well. At home, it looked way darker and more contrasty around the edges. Anyway, I wouldn't have captured what I wanted in color and especially in daylight. What I wanted was an unknown figure looking at you in the dark.

It's kind of like "Film Noir",
Is that a face in the mirror?
Very interesting image, thanks for sharing.

I like it, but you should try it with the wipers in mid sweep, hopefully with an oncoming cars headlights? I know thats 'knocking us over the head' with being obvious, but..could be a nice shot.
