Hi all, in a few days i will be shooting a Grey 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo SE. I was just wondering about a few things and maybe some of you guys could help me out. 1st should i be shooting RAW for something like this? i did a photoshoot 1 month ago for a Grey 2008 Lamborghini LP640 and i shot JPEG. The only editing I really did was saturation/colors and exposure in lightroom and photoshop. I was hoping to actually try and get some good pictures now. I will be shooting this with my XTI / 17-85mm with CPL filter and should be sunny out side.

Hopefully you can recommend me some tips'.

1st should i be shooting RAW for something like this? IMO, if you never expect to make a huge print of it, you could just shoot a small jpg? http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/smilies/0087.gif

post #58, (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=2208481&postcount=58) will illustrate easily seen information loss in a web jpeg derived from a RAW file & one shot in the camera.
You will see even more detail if you compare large 300ppi prints.

So, if you're only going to use the images on the web, you'll get almost as good results shooting jpgs in the cam. BUT, if you ever get that "Shot-of-a-Lifetime", you're not going to make as good a print of it as when you have the RAW "negative" to fall back on. should be sunny out side. Not my ideal conditions. Hopefully you can recommend me some tips'. See my Sig.
