please critique these basketball collages............

I like what you're trying to do here; especially since I suspect you're going to publicize these images by giving them to the players, or parents, or perhaps, including in a yearbook.

That said, my personal critique is this:
-the tonality between the background closeups should be matched more closely. The one on the right is noticeably lighter than the left.
-the knockouts of the action shots could be done cleaner. There are fringe highlights around #10 on the far left and shadow around the running image where he is looking back over his right shoulder. On the right, maybe the selection masks were feathered a tad too much...just a guess from what I see on my screen.
-last, if the leftmost image for #11 includes the ball, that shouldn't be cropped out. It looks like he and the defender are just jumping. No biggie, it would just look better with the object of the action included; the ball. 8-)

I know how hard it is to do these well. I've been trying to do it in PS for years with limited success.

Perhaps that's why they immediately got my attention. Good Luck.

I agree with the nockout needing to be cleaner. I also think some kind of 'ground level' is needed. The jumping players in the second collage got no reference level. On the first set everybody's 'standing' on the bottom of the page.
Also there's a big colour difference you need to get rid of.
