Elements 3 Organiser issues

I've been playing with Elements 3 a bit lately and generally like the package, but the organiser view seems to have a mind of its own. When viewing the thumbnails it seems to automatically apply the "Auto-fix" adjustments to the image, altering things like exposure, levels and color so that they look nothing like what came out of the camera. Has anyone found a way to turn this off so that th thumbnails aren't altered?

I've not seen the same behavior with my copy and I searched all of the settings and cannot find any that would seem to make that happen.
