Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and was going through all of your wonderful images and thought I may as well jump in and share one of my own.
This is a picture of "CC" a stray that adopted us about 2 years ago. She's a pretty demanding cat...actually bangs her head on the front door if we're late serving her breakfast...but she makes for fun shooting when there's nothing else going on. This was shot with a 20D & the kit 18-55 lens.

Nice sharp pic. The framing of the eyes is good.

LOL! Cats have some of the funniest personalities.
That's a great shot! Was this taken with auto or manual focus? I'd imagine it was pretty hard to do if in auto.

Thanks everyone. It's always fun to try and get a decent shot out of her. I say try because she refuses to come out of that darn cedar shrub!

To be honest, I don't remember off hand. I don't have the actual image info in front of me right now but I do know I had to manually focus many of her shots that day...again because of that darm cedar shrub. ;) I wish I could have kept at it a little longer to get the greenery framed "just right" around her eyes, but I'm afraid her patience wore out a lot quicker than mine did. After this shot, she turned her tail to the camera and went about her day...but not without some parting "words" for the camera.
Think she's trying to tell me something?
