Train Snow Plow

I have been driving by this Rig and finally took a photo.

This is the Snow Plow that is sitting in the Truckee CA train yard.
identical engines back to back. Note the big blades that push out.
Looking forward to some photos with snow on the ground. (C&C welcomed)

Those circular things on the windows; are they some sort of extra powerful defroster? Are those fan blades on them?

They are high speed rotating windows. You commonly see them on ships. The entire glass spins, throwing water and snow off.
CLEARVIEW SCREENS
These units provide visability in most all weather conditions. The 12" diameter screen rotates at 1900 RPMs to keep water away. A 170 watt heater melts ice and snow.
