Hi,

Now im not sure how this works but should i be looking into software that tunes my monitor to show the real colors and also what about my printer. Basically id hate to think im making changes in photoshop that im happy with regarding color and then print to find that red is a completely different shade.

I dont have any clue how it works but ive heard stuff about colour profiles for monitors and printers. How does this work and do i need special software or is it just a case that if i buy a cheap monitor im less likely to see the correct colours so buy an expensive one, also should i setup printer color matching or profiles.

Ill be priting to Epson 1400, Mitsubish CP3020DAE (http://www.systeminsight.co.uk/acatalog/Mitsubishi_CP3020DE.html)and also Mitsubishi CP9500DW (http://www.systeminsight.co.uk/acatalog/Mitsubishi_CP9550DW.html)

Ive dual monitors, there 1900 x 1200 but basically bottom of the line as far as 1900 x 1200 comes, i bought them with resolution in mind however did i make a mistake, i could get access to a Dell 2407 1900 x 1200 which is pretty slick IMO and swap for one of the cheap ones.

But basically any info on how i tune all these so What i see on my monitor is what i get on the printed page or at least as close as possible
