Hello there.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I've tried picassa and windows importer .
However , the photos are OK, but the video can't be copied.
Surely will appreciate your help!!
The camera didnt fall down or something, it's fine.
If I can update its driver, I will lose the video (Or will I?). So please find a way not do do that ..

The camera won't import a video? You're not normally (especially if it's been edited, or looks like it has) going to be able to transfer a file to (import) the camera.
Updating the camera's driver won't affect your data card or hard disk, so you won't lose the shot.

"Canon S5iS fails to import a video"
the camera cannot import videos, do you mean to transfer a video to the computer? have you tried taking the SD card out and reading it as a directory?

if a the card reader won't recognize the camera's SD card then the file or format is corrupted, you will then need a software recovery program

Are you using a card reader, or trying to import directly from the camera?
Do you have the software provided by Canon, i.e., ZoomBrowser?
