This stone is quarried near here. I will have to look into where. I see it used in buildings all over town, so it seems it must be local. HDR sure brings out the reds in it, cause it looks weathered and washed out in real life. :)

Thanks Doogie. It is neat looking stuff. Some kind of sandstone from the bluff. It's also the same color as some of the clay they use here to make bricks. :)

Not bad for manual HDR! :)

Interesting captures, looks as red as the red rock from Utah.

Nope, this is one of those tests, using your method. Time frame for 6 shots was only 4 seconds, 8 seconds for the 7 shot one, 3 burst though. You lose a lot of ground when you have to use the dial. Here's one of the RAW's converted without HDR to show the real color.
