A60 can't switch between replaying and shooting

All the sudden, my A60 can not swith between replaying and shooting. When I turn it on it always in the shooting mode. Can somebody help me? thanks in advance.

Broken switch?

Just have not touched the camera for serveral days, don't think the switch should be broken. I don't know what happen internally, any idea to fix it?

Work the switch back and forth a few times in case there's been some oxidation on the contacts, try pulling the batteries to let it drain down, and then start over with a newly-charged set of batteries (maybe, for test purposes, and I don't recall if Canon cautions against using them here, a set of Energizer Lithium AAs).

The manual suggest you clean your battery terminals when that happens
