Your thread title made me laugh. And while I'm not 100% sure that the subjects are thoroughly complimentary, I am sure that this the best image of flowers and a "weird shiny thing" I have ever seen! Tiles, this actually could be a really neat photo and you've got a great start on it. It might be worth experimenting with cropping in on the right side somewhere just to the right of that nice "S" curve of asters to tighten things up a little further. Cloning out the odd black tendril and the brown leaf(?) would help clean things up. Might help as well to color match the white portion of the WST to the nickel colored cap. Nice find with a lot of potential.
