worst snowfall in 50 years here!

tonight we are also in the race for coldest night in 50 years, -15 till -20 degrees celsius :confused:

well here are some snow pictures i've taken while walking to my work.

here in the hague there is only a thin layer of ice on the water, but that's because the temperature only goes below 0 degrees celsius at night.

but today it was below zero all day, and tonight will be extreme cold. and they say it will last a few more days so probably this weekend people will be iceskating:D

You know, sometimes I tell myself "Steve, you miss the snow; the changing of the seasons. You miss the dead of winter and the rebirth of spring."

Then someone says "but today it was below zero all day".

I like San Diego.

the bike was my favorit too.

today it's snowing again so i'll be off to shoot some more snow scenes tonight ;)

All great shots. I agree, the bike is very cool. Looks like it's the wet sticky kind of snow that's a pain to shovel!

it IS the sticky type! i've been busy for an hour just to clear the path to my frontdoor :rolleyes:

I like #3 also. I would increase exposure by 1 stop to lighten the snow, it kind of dark and gray IMHO.
