Studio Color

Hey Everyone!
I have learned so much from this forum! Could you please share your knowledge a little more and let me know what color would you suggest painting a studio? My studio is 18x24 with 8ft ceilings. (I wish I could have went taller!)

I know black is recommended but I just can't make myself paint all my freshly hung sheetrock black.

haha...All my people would look they had a disease or something.
It's going to stay white for awhile...I'm guessing grey is going to be my only option.

What if you did gray, but added black and white accents? It could be really classy if you framed your gallery images in black.
