northern new mexico?

I am going to be going to Farmington this week for the holidays and thought i'd take a day to do some sightseeing/picture taking etc.

any ideas on some good locations or must see's while I am there?

From Farmington, you're roughly only 42 miles (as the crow flies) from both Mesa Verde National Park to the NNW (cliff dwellings) and/or Durango, Colorado to the NNE (great narrow gauge railroad excursion)

If you get down to the southern part of the state there is a lot sites for shooting. I live in Alamogordo NM which is 90 miles north of El Paso and 60 east of Las Cruces. Let me know if you going to make it down south.
