A small design company wants to use three of my photos in a brochure that will promote business, growth, and development in the area. 1000 will be printed. One image will be 4x6 and the other two are 4x2.3 at 300dpi. Can someone please give me a ballpark estimate on what to charge the company?

...I realize that there are a lot of threads on this but I still can't really even find a ballpark figure...

first off - is this a local company or it is national (international). I assume by the print run it is local. I photograph for companies locally and charge a low fee - $75 per image for runs under 1000. But I have found that you really count how many times they use that photo on any single item. I guess you really need to know how they will use the photo, how many times they will be using the items and what you feel is real FAIR value for your images. Remember that there are many micro-stock firms that sell images for $15 each.

Take heart and follow your dreams - have your images posted where you can and add their name to your list of clients. It just may bring you more business.
