My weak attempt at HDR and list of excuses.

-Composition isn't the best because I was in a hurry as the sun was setting.
-Clouds look really crappy because they were moving fast between exposures.
-Dynamic range would be better if I tweaked each raw file but I am lazy.
-Can't use a CP on my 15mm lens to control reflections.
-Color of my car just doesn't work well for HDR.

Yeah something like that for me too (Awesome). I wish I had a picture of my STI like that. It doesn't scream HDR but is looks great and has good detail. The only thing that is getting me is the #3. I don't know if it was intentional or not but if not maybe a little cloning. If I had a bug eye instead of pignose it would be my new stolen background

great shot but I would definitely edit out the "#3"

I kind of like the #3, which was not intentional. I got out of my car and there it was and the sun was setting fast so I didn't bother repositioning my car.

So I do like the #3 but I don't care for the composition in relation to the car or vise verse. I think it makes the right side of the photo to weighted.

Thanks for the comments. :)

Rather than clone out the three, I'd crop off the whole bottom and leave the car to the rule of thirds. But the car will never be the first thing you see in this picture. :)

Very cool, what lens did you use?

I think I will crop it when I get home and post the results.

Thanks. Canon 5D+Sigma 15mm fisheye.

Sorry, been meaning to crop it and post it back up. Ended up spending several hours searching for a place to get a certain style calendar printed and ended up ordering from some place in Europe.

Here are the two crops I made for those that were asking. One in the standard 2:3 aspect ratio of my camera and the other in the more common 3:4 aspect ratio. I must say I don't really like either of them.

I really think the last one is the best of them all. ;)

Nice, what a difference without the #3. Wonder how it would of looked with your headlights and foglights on?

I like the composition in the first: sunset, car, #3.
Distinctive, oddly dramatic...
Thanks.
