#1 is a very cute shot, love her little skirt. Do you mind telling what settings you used on your camera? You shot seems a bit soft and maybe even noisy. almost like your ISO was up a bit too high. Did you do any PP on this shot? It seems to be a bit bland, almost desaturated. I think this shot would be a bit better if it had a bit of a color/contrast boost. If that is not the original picture on #1 then do you mind posting the original so we can play with it?

My version, slight curves, contrast, eyes, etc.

Ohhh, she is so cute! I think a little pp could go a long way on this one. I tried an edit for you. I boosted the saturation & contrast a bit, brightened the eyes, sharpened the image, slight curves adjusment & a bit of vingette. Hope you like it. :)
