... is really tough to shoot. I shot my first baseball game today and was relly suprised on how difficult it was to find the action. Its much more differnt than shootng basketball, you have to anticipate the action, not react to it. For me it was really hard to capture the ball at the correct momment, its especially difficult for me since I have the rebel and the 4 shot burst rate. I can't wait until I get my 20D.

Here are a couple of pictures that I would like to share with ;you all. Any tips/advice as well as comments on my pictures are welcome. Shot at f/4-5.6, 1/1000-3200.

#2 is your best shot -- definitely a keeper. All are cropped well but seem to need a bit of unsharp mask work. Good faces in #1 and #2. Nice uncluttered backgrounds -- not easy in baseball. Personally I don't like #4 but that might be because I don't like to see players get hurt.

Tips: Pre focus where you expect the action to be, learn when to snap the shutter on pitcher shots rather than using burst mode, use the burst mode for batters and plays at bases.
