My friend (old roommate) is an Art Director at an Advertising company, and he gets to work with the likes of these guys. I'm jealous...imagine the tips you could pick up from these guys!

I'd buy me a coffee table book of that Williams' work.
Way cool stuff.
The kind of stuff that makes me want to try stuff.
The kind of inspirational stuff that doesn't immediately leave you thinking you can do the same thing if you just spend another $$$ on gear.

Sketcher,
I gotta admit that Jimmy's stuff has really become an inspriation to me too. That portrait of the old man on the farm is just incredible. The colors just pop right out of the shot.

Fantastic images from the second gallery!
Makes me wonder what equipment they use, how long it took to set up each shot, and how much post-production goes on!
Would be amazing to spend a week at work with people that can produce work like this...

don't get me wrong about the equipment - not sure I could ever produce work of that quality given all the same gear and about 100 years!!

Well, to be honest and after a second look at the guy's work, I think some members here can produce equally good photos. For example, the pic of the guy blowing that shell at the beach. Our friend here Wazza has the same quality shots, if not better, of the same setting (IMO).
Edit: Just remembered the End of Year contest. There were some stunning photos there.
