This is the first time I do a child photo session... Unfortunately her dad was busy and could not join the photos.

These are just a few I had time to process.

Thanks

one more: (this one I know I made a terrible mistake by cropping (on camera) the bottom part... I'll take much more attention next time.)

seems soft to me, maybe because of where they are hosted? I love them though. Very mommy/daughter bonding time type :)

Hi, thanks...
I've used the photoshop resize script to automatically resize for web and saved at Q8 JPEG, maybe the softness was due that...

Hello. I agree on the softenn. I use a web resize and sharpen action and then I do a save for web. I upload my photos I want to share to photobucket...

I really like the 2nd shot. Although it does look like you have lost a lot of detail in the outfit. I also really like the 3rd one but watch for cropping of the feet. Nice work and TFS...

I became very sad at the moment I looked at the lcd and saw that the feet were gone :(

Thanks,

the shots are cute, i would try to boost the contrast/curves a bit to make a better bw conversion. They seem a bit flat. The little girl is a cutie pie. The last one is adorable.

IMHO #1 would have been better without the wrist watch on her arm. And the child held lower to avoid the crotch shot and this would also have put her whole head in frame. I like the others, but it is a shame about the feet in #3.
