Hi everyone! These two shots were taken a few days ago at a local cemetery.
It was cool and foggy so I tried to capture the mood with a photograph of a
lonely veterans plot. In case you are wondering, the lay of the land is tilted.
Comments welcome please.

Lovely! I like the first a lot, and the tilt doesn't bother me. I think it adds to the mood of the shot.

Top photo looks like it could be as old as the stones... good capture. The gate standing locked when - as far as I can see - you can just step over the remains of whatever fence or wall there used to be - adds to the sense of futility.

Second shot's a much harsher white-balance... much less noise. Compositionally, it's ok but I think the background has too many white surfaces around the top of the shot, leading the eye out of the image. The right looks a little empty and collapsed after the harsh placement of Charles Zahller's stone on the left.

Cheers, Tony

I have added another shot with a different perspective on this subject.
Any comments that help me capture this in a better manner would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nice shots, they really pull of the mood well. One of the few times I've seen a sepia toned shot I actually like; it works well here.
