I have started to expand my photography business and I am now getting into selling images for use on websites. I do outdoor/travel adventure photography so a few outdoor retailer stores have expressed interest in using some of my work for the website stores.

What pricing structure do you typically use? For an example, my most recent contact wants to use 10 images throughout the online store. How would I go about figuring out a price that is both fair to me and to the company? Most of the stores are not large retail chains, but smaller stores that still do very well.

Thanks in advanced.

I'd go to several stock photography websites and see what they charge for similar usage of similar images. Getty, Corbis, Alamy, etc. (just be sure any you check with are not microstock sites).

You'll need to know how much exclusivity they want, approx. size it will be displayed and how long they want to use the image.
