I recently purchased a Newton Di100FR2 Bracket, and am very pleased with it! It is very small and lightweight, but at the same time strong and rugged. I expect many years of use out of this and would highly recommend it.

Photos of it on my 40D are below.

Congratulations on your new acquisition. I have been a strong supporter of Newton brackets for over a decade, having used them with my medium format SLR for wedding photography. Those who follow my suggestion are frequently even more enthusiastic supporters than I am. I don't know of a single person who had followed by suggestion about buying Newton, who later changed their mind about the product!

Sure! No problem.. just have B&H send me one and I'll be more than glad to take photos!:D

I used it with a Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS (77mm filter size) on it at the wedding and was still able to get my 'gorilla-fingers' in between the lens and the bracket.
