so i got this email from one of my professors:

I am contacting you to solicit your photographic contributions to the annual Town and University poster that is produced each year through the Communication Design Department. Alan Rellaford and I are in the initial planning stages for the project and we need your assistance with the photography.

so with that in mind i took this. it's from on campus.

I like the second one.

The first one is too dark. You photographed a shaded side of the building. I like the composition. try that shot at a different time of day.

it seems too dark because i had the levels a little messed up. here's a revision. i could go even lighter if i wanted. i took out the trash can too -.-
