These are nice too John. How high off the ground did you shoot (in part 1 as well). Did you use a filter?

Hi Alan thanks for your questions, In both series of shots i used a circular polarizer in most shots

as for your other question as in height from ground i was standing in most at normal ground level

you no doubt noticed shot 1 and 4 in this post

Number 1 : I handheld at just above water level and snapped off a series of shots until i got the desired level

Number 4 : this was a much harder to acheive the river was partly frozen so i lay down on the ice and snapped away  ,yes the ice was thin and yes i got wet but i think the shot was worth the effort

once again thanks your interest
regards john:)

John, what can I say, they just get better and better.
What a great advert for Scotland.
You must be on the payroll of VisitScotland.com. :)

They're all great shots, but that last one of The Buachaille, well it takes the biscuit.
By the sound of it you laboured to produce that one. (Thin ice)

Hope the weather holds for Goat Fell.
Cir Mhor looks great from the top of Goat Fell.

Beautiful place... the effect of the sky makes even the mountain look small and insignificant.
