Hey guys,

I'm looking at backpacks and saw that a Lowepro Slingshot 100 All Weather is made from a water-resistant micro fiber and the Lowepro Slingshot 200 has an All Weather cover. I like the idea of having the cover because that seems as though it would have more protection if I were standing out in the rain for a long period of time. Can someone please tell me which would be the better buy? I don't mind spending a little extra for the 200 if it provides better protection.

Thanks for the help!

In my opinion, I would get the bag that has the All Weather cover. I have read a few threads where the supposedly 'water resistant' fabric sheds the rain, but the water gets thru the zippers. Plus at home, I use the AW cover as a dust cover as well.

I was also worried about the zipper letting some water get through. I think I might just get the one with the cover.

Thanks for the info.!
