Hi folks, just wanted to share this link which includes Birding mailing lists for all over North America and the World. They are geared towards birding more than photography but are a great place to find out what is being seen in your area. I use it to keep an eye out for rare or interesting species, or just species I can't seem to find. Right now I am tracking Snowy Owl reports in the Atlantic provinces. Just click on the link and scroll down until you see your area. I hope you find this to be of some help, I sure use it a lot. Mods, if this is not appropriate feel free to zap it!

Huh, interesting... Looks like they take the post from individual clubs (IBET in IL) and put them on one site. Either way its great information and a time saver for when I go on vacation. Thanks...Jeff

Yes, I've used that also. Even though those lists are geared toward birding, they can be very helpful for photographers. I just subscribed to the Florida Bird list so I can hopefully find some good locations when I head down there next month.
