Without getting into specifics of which parameter does what, I'm a little unsure of the proper use of parameters. Would I be correct in assuming that if I wished to maintain the most control of my image, I would shoot with all the parameters "off"?
If that is the case, what circumstances should prompt me to choose a parameter, again -- not a specific one -- but a parameter? Would this be a wise choice if I chose to shoot in JPEG rather than RAW?
As I hope is obvious, I'm trying not to outline a specific shooting situation, but get some general guidance on when to use and when to not use the parameter settings.
Thanks,
Jim
