Every spring the hills are covered with California's state flower. While the poppies are pretty enough, I love the blue cast oak trees in the background...they haven't come into bloom yet.

Nice shot. I can't wait for spring this year in California. With all of the rain, the flowers/hillsides should be amazing this year.

You will be in summer before I get spring flowers . . . but I guess it is I whom will be the luck one. I will get two springs, the one here and my own. Nice shot of a wondrous time.

Love the colors. This makes the cloudy, cold and rainy weather we are experiencing now seem bearable.
