I like the third one. Even when it looks not natural because the orange sky is not reflected in the blue water. But the combination of manipulated (?) colors is quite good and gives a sense of elevated harmony.

They are all really good. If I had to choose one of these it would be number 3.

Sorry that this one is large, but the jpeg artifacts at the medium setting ruined the picture:

Just a levels adjustment to bring out some contrast and an USM. The sun was more red in real life, but it is a little over-exposed and turned yellow in some of the pictures.

I like #7 up top the best! Love the transitionary sky behind the pine trees. Gives me the feel as if I was there hiking and came upon that little shed/outhouse/thing!
Do you mind sharing some info?
-Where were those taken?
-What camera are you using?
THANKS & GREAT JOB!

The beach shots were taken from Crystal Cove National Park in Southern California (Newport). The non-beach shots are taken either from my balcony or from the street just below and to the left of my balcony. The sun now sets towards the right of the pictures (behind the other homes) and I can't get the trees in the shots anymore. :(.
I'm using a Canon 20D and I currently use the 10-22mm EF-S (for about a week or so now), 28-135mm IS, 50mm f/1.8 and the 75-300mm IS. I hope to get the 100-400mm L lens before my trip to Hawaii in August (which will replace the 75-300 lens).
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I love taking sunset pictures and I will continue to share them if you guys don't mind.

When I get my new rig I'll have to head over to CC myself! I've taken some shots (film) all along the coast but never really did stop by there....surprisingly enough.
Sounds like you've got an awesome rig yourself. And I see your using the
28-135mm IS lens......I was just inquiring about that here on this thread =>

How do you like it? I was pretty much talked out of it as I think I would need a 'faster' lens instead of just a stabalized one.

Nice photos on a cold winter day here. I like the one with the boat.
Thanks for sharing.

WOW!
That new "first one" is amazing! You should really repost that in a new thread so that everyone gets a chance to see it!! That's just crazy how the clouds look like they're halo'ing the sun!! DAMN!! Any PS in that at all??
