I am taking pictures at a Christmas Parade tonight and I am wondering if I should use a Flash or no flash. I am using a 1D Mark II and I have a 580 EX Flash. Here are my lenses: 70-200 2.8 IS, 85 1.8, 50 1.4, and a 17-85 4.0. I am pretty good at NO FLASH photography, but I might have to use Fill Flash, Can anyone explain how to do that on this Flash and at night, any pointers. One more question, if I use a flash, won't it make the beautiful Christmas lights on the floats not as vibrant, due to the flash? I DO NOT want MOTION BLUR, I want shutters above 1/200th!!! HELP would be great! --In South Dakota
