I like it, it's my first digital, and I'm only 16 so it is good enough, mostly just messing around with it, taking pictures of my snakes. but anywayk, I dropped it and it hit the egde of the counter in the bathroom, and freaked me out. Luckily it didnt' hit the LCD screen, it just hit the bottom of the camera/possibly the bottom of the zoom lense part, not the lens but the expandable part. anyway, I'm happy with it and it's cool YEA,

this post was mostly just seeing if it works, because it's my first post, no real point. sry

you sure can as long as I figure out how to post pics. so back to the droppign thing, do you guys ever drop them? do they seem to withstand things like this? it just freaked me out, and wanna make sure it's pro style.

I dropped my A80 twice! Once on the carpet, which wasn't so bad, and then outside and it survived. I don't drop it anymore. Before I remove it from its case I wrap the strap around my wrist - then remove it. You can see some of my A80 results at: http://www.dorsetscountryside.co.uk

My A80, in a pack-strap pocket fell 4 feet onto the pavement with only a slight ding. Later one of the dogs knocked it off a couch onto the carpet. Sprung the top (taped it down!), but it still works.
