I tried to shoot into the sun a little more than I'm used to. I should probably drag my wife out more often to practice but the couple was happy with the photos and in the long run, that's what matters.

If you guys have some "shooting into the sun" tips that would be great.

Ben

Looks good! You lost contrast shooting into the sun like that; often that can be fixed by using a prime ;) or another lens that is more flare resistant. You can also just tweak up the black levels and you might not notice. I like how you kept some detail in there and they're not pure silhouettes.

I would clone out the beach dude in #2 and straighten the horizon in 4.

Hoff, thanks for the tips. I'll try it with a prime next time and I'll see how a little black adjustment works.

Babee, thank you for the compliment. I especially like 8. I was so nervous though because the water kept rushing up behind me. I'd imagine they'd be a little angry if I lost the ring.

lol - ya that would suck!
I love #8 too!! I think you did pretty good with these, I would clone the dude in #2 as well, and I wish you hadn't cropped into her foot on #1, but everything else looks good!
