I use extreme III as well, Amazon seem to be one of the cheapest you can get them for under twenty quid inluding p&p, don't know what their shipping costs are like to Ireland

The extreme III 4GB are 19.99 right now at adorama. If you buy 3 of them, Sandisk will send you a $60 pre-paid Visa, basically making them free.

Believe it or not, your Ultra IIs will work nearly as good as the Extreme IIIs. But with the price that you can pick up Extreme IIIs for, it would be almost crazy not to upgrade.

Yep, I've been plenty happy with my Ultra II's, but I couldn't help myself with the prices and rebates.

Can you send a link to the $19.99 Extreme IIIs? They look a lot higher to me:

I just picked up 4 Ultra IIs for our 40D at Staples for $14.99ea. We use them in weddings and usually only once or twice a day do I notice the speed difference versus our Extreme cards.... of course, noticing the difference at all could be more critial in sports.

Here is the 8GB cards, they work out to $20 for 3 of them after the $70 rebate.

Here is the 4GB cards that have the buy 3 $60 rebate.

They send you to their Amazon.com storefront when you clink on the "buy now" at adorama.com, but it all works out the same.
The same deals happen for their SDHC cards.
B&H also has pretty much the same deal, but they charge shipping.

Hmmmmm.... I didn't see the N Ireland there before.
That certainly affects things.

I just bought me the Kingston 133x 4GB (have enough already) for $13.99 off amazon. I don't trust Sandisk Rebates. Especially not after the 100,000 (sic) orders over black Friday.

Bought (3) of the 4gb III cards at $19.95 ea from B & H and I'm getting $60 dollars back. I made 15 cents on that deal!
The Sandisk Extreme III cards are great for your 40D
