Wedding Photographer Needed (Philadelphia area, July 3 2009)

Hi everyone,

I need a wedding photographer for July 3rd, 2009, for an Indian wedding (so, 12-14 hours total for ceremony and reception).

I would prefer someone who has shot an Indian Ceremony in the past, or are willing to study a bit and learn about the ceremonies from my family before hand.

I live in South jersey, in a town called Voorhees. We haven't picked the wedding venue yet, but it will be within an hour of Voorhees.

You are limiting your responses with demands.
I am afraid that the only way you are going to get what you are asking for is to have an Indian do the work.
Other than that if you are willing to hire a photographer at an hourly fixed rate and tell them what type of images you want for each part of your wedding I am sure they will be more than happy to deliver.
A photographer is paid for their ability to produce images, not their cultural knowledge.
The photographer will also need to know the venue as it dictates lighting requirements.
They also need to know colors of attire, for example its very difficult to produce good images of a subject with dark skin that is wearing white although I believe Indian traditional is red?
