Very good images, considering you were shooting throught a fence.

Nice shots :) No qualification.

That Macca is one ugly car though... weren't you worried about lens damage shooting it?

Thanks TOM
Great to have some shots up on here so fast i'm sure its appreciated by many of us, myself included.
Keep them coming.
Is it only race day with restriction to 200mm lens.
because the 300 certainly worked good so far.
Cheers

Did you notice the nose on the Williams BMW is different from that used in the street parade. It has a much larger "bubble/scoop" on the bottom. (Sorry... I know this is not a Williams BMW F1 forum, but I can't help but comment).

Thanks for the comments, will post some more pics later. Managed to hide my 300mm lens in my back pack and got away with it.

having been there I know how difficult it can be to get this kind of photo from the normal spectator area, with that in mind and the conditions there today these are very good shots

Very nice shots, through the fence. What happens if you get caught with a 300mm?
Confiscation, or expulsion from the park. :p

I didn't know they had such silly rules. I guess it's to protect those professionals actually making some money off their shots.

I love McLaren. Good to see their X-Wing fighter growing some real wings. ;)

briliant shots well caught - I'm recorded it - so only watched it a few hours ago...
fantastic images - do they really restrict the kit you can take :(
