yes, i was split at first as I like De Lahoya, but I am staying true...and I honestly believe the Pac Man will be a hard one to beat. Oscar in his prime, sure...but with is age now, Pac just has to be careful while fighting his fight and he'll do good.
(not to mention that Oscar says he takes this fight "personal" now...wtf? Just because the other Mexican fighters don't have what it takes to beat Pac doesn't mean it's his fault!
Ok ok...to keep in on topic! (oldie but goodie)

de la hoya? what ever.... his dropping wieght, pacquaio is ganing. that's the only advantage i see from pacquaio. but he needs to be careful though, de la hoya is highly experience and clever and so is manny.=D

oh noo...I mean i'm staying true to the Blood! lol... I usually like Oscar, but but Pac man is where my money is.
If Pacman plays it right, he'll be too much for De la hoya... won't go the rounds like the Mayweather loss.

Sure to be a very anticipated fight. And a very controversial fight. Pacman being the underdog and having nothing to lose. De la hoya having everything to lose since he's a well renown fighter. He's a legend to boxing, much experienced gold medalist. He's fighting to a much smaller man and was in a much lower weight class I believe. De la Hoya much older now, and no longer in his prime. Pacman hasn't really fought a boxer with much power, as oppose to the fighters De la Hoya has fought, Felix Trinidad, Mosley, Bernard Hopkins, Mayorga, Floyd Mayweather, etc.
I believe one of Pacman's trainers once trained De la Hoya and knows plenty of his weaknesses.
Pacman is looking in great shape to take on De la Hoya. His weight gain and training looks like he can go toe-to-toe with De la Hoya. So he he better watch out for Pacman's bursts, when explodes with fast and powerfull punches. Pacman being very risky, that could cause him the fight if he slips up.
All that matters to me is that De la Hoya keeps his speed power and stamina. Or else Pacman will tire him out. We shall see how it goes on Dec 6th.
Sorry to butt in your guys' convo. Just my 2cents
Goldenboy ftw!

that's for real because pacman is beating/retiring every single/best mexican fighter in his weight class, and only de la hoya is carrying the flag. i dnt see any pressure for pacman, non title match. but ofcourse its your opinion. we'll see.=D

Yeah no pressure on Pacman, but much on De la Hoya.

Ya so if you think about it, Pac man bulking up might be a bad idea for him, because the amount energy the heart will have to use just to keep him going... I hope he is training in Drills for his Stamina

WOW...I had Pacman as the winner, but I had NO IDEA it would be so one sided... I'm normally a De la Hoya fan, and was surprised he did so poorly. but...
GOOOO FIGHT PACman!!!
haha, it was me and my one other Filipino buddy here at my house that were the only Pac supporters. We cooked up a traditional Filipino meal for everyone an everything...absorbed all the smack talk pre-fight, then watched the house go silent...round after round. We did shots of Crown for each round. I'm sure glad The Golden Boy quit, or we would have been waaaay to faded to celebrate.
