Help! I've got an Epson 4000 and while doing a print run the colour has changed. I have printed out some B&W OK and some colour. Then in the next B&W there is a greenish tinge.
Neither the ICC profile for the media or any of the settings has been altered.
I have printed out a calibration test print and the cyan is royal blue. the magenta way too dark as is the yellow, red blue and green. The greyscale is visible with no apparant colour cast. It all looks too saturated but I have reduced the ink density to no avail. I have calibrated the monitor.
I wouldn't mind so much if I had been fiddling with the controls but the 4000 is too cranky to do that to!
Anybody got any ideas? I have done a nozzle check and the blocks of colour on that all appear OK and the correct colour.
Cheers
Wendy
Problem sorted, nice young man at Epson rang and we have changed the media settings a bit. Beats me how it worked ok for months before though.
Thanks for your help guys.
